Who we are and how we work

The Stepfamily Foundation, Inc., headquartered in New York City is a not for profit founded in 1975. Our mission is to assist you in making your family, as it is now, function well. We have created a successful management system for the stepfamily – who unfortunately, is the unacknowledged majority.

We address the issues of; organization, partnership, couple strength, conflict of loyalties, roles, discipline, the ex spouse and much, much more. We also serve faith based organizations and individuals.

We are the only organization to devote ourselves solely to these issues for over 30 years. We have identified the classic dynamics and have established proven solutions. Our work is supported by substantial research involving more than 3000 people.

Need Help Now?

  1. Stepfamily
  2. Single Parents
  3. Remarriage
  4. First Family - Our research relates that our methods also apply to the original family

We provide 20 minute free consultation by phone. After that, an hour rate is charged. Call (212)877-3244 for more information. It is our experience that families can't do it alone. Coaching is needed. Try it!!!
